Mack Trucks Academy Program Earns Gold for Sales Training
Brandon Hall Group™, a recognized authority in learning and talent development, has recognized a Mack Trucks Academy program in its 2026 HCM Excellence Awards®. The Pioneer Launch Dealer Training earned Gold in the Best Program for Sales Training and Performance category.
This award reflects a distinct effort to strengthen dealers’ sales capabilities. Mack Trucks Academy collaborated with the brand’s sales and marketing teams to develop tailored strategies that delivered measurable results.
The All-new Mack Pioneer™ marked a major product launch during Mack’s 125th anniversary year. Preparing dealers to sell an entirely new highway truck at more than 400 locations required careful coordination with subject matter experts. The program combined online learning and live broadcasts with hands-on training at the Mack Experience Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. There, participants explored the truck and practiced connecting its capabilities to customers’ needs. Approximately 600 people participated, including dealer, field, and corporate personnel. More than 90% of participants said the training met or exceeded their expectations.
Mack’s training Academy prepared dealers to introduce an entirely new highway truck to customers. The learning and development team united product, sales, and training experts to create a targeted program that increased knowledge, improved sales readiness, and produced measurable business results. The Brandon Hall HCM Gold award recognizes their collective achievement.
