Congratulations to Josh Sauls, 2021 Walk the Bulldog champion!
Josh Sauls has been with TranSource, Inc. in Greensboro, NC for two years and in the trucking industry for seven. He enjoys working in truck sales for TranSource and always speaks highly of the organization. Josh attended Mack Trucks Academy’s New Vehicle Sales Professional instructor-led training in Allentown, PA in April 2021, where students spend a half day working on their walkaround presentations.
“The walkaround activity with Juan [Torres, Mack vehicle sales training manager] at the training was a lot of pressure, but it was a huge opportunity for me to better my walkaround skills. Having the chance to spend time with people who have been in the business for years, as well as people who are new to the industry, is where I found the most value. Whether someone has been on the job for a day or a year, you can always learn something new to better yourself.”
Josh was excited to enter Walk the Bulldog and put his skills to the test. He credits and thanks his colleagues Ed Simmons and Roy Horton for their key roles in helping him with his presentation.
“Ed did all the hard work of making it look like I knew what I was doing. Roy spent time reviewing my presentation to give me feedback and made sure everything went smoothly.”
I feel 100% that my success in the competition is directly a result of the Mack Trucks Academy training.
Josh also thanks Mack Trucks Academy for the comprehensive, hands-on training that took place in Allentown. “I learned and took away so much from the training. As champion, Josh was awarded $8,000. August is an exciting month for another reason too – Josh will soon be welcoming his second child.
