Diesel Advanced Technology Education
The DATE program prepares highly dedicated, shop-ready diesel technicians to enter the workforce with advanced technical training on our trucks by factory-trained instructors.
Graduates take the same professional level training as your dealership’s current technicians, preparing them to successfully transition to working in your dealership.
To qualify for the DATE program, students need to successfully interview and meet attendance and grade requirements. By the end of the program, students have completed 500+ hours of coursework and hands-on training. View training topics.
DATE students graduate with a Mack technician professional level certificate and are ready to move on to master level training once employed at your dealership.
Recruiting DATE program graduates greatly reduces training costs and out-of-shop recruitment time.
Save approximately 30 hours of training for new technicians.
Decrease time to achieve master-level status by up to 50%.
Students enrolled in the DATE program at our partner institutions learn from Mack Trucks Academy master level certified instructors in a hybrid curriculum combining online and face-to-face learning with hands-on shop time.
Each institution offers a comprehensive diesel technology program incorporating Mack Trucks technical training content.
