Mack T300 Transmission Design and Function Course Discontinued as of January 1, 2027

Effective January 1, 2027, course 501406: Mack T300 Transmission Design and Function, will no longer be offered or required for Mack Transmission Master certification. 

 Production of the T300 transmission ended in 2006, and the need for training to support it has declined. No replacement course or alternative training is planned. 

What this means for technicians beginning Mack Transmission Master certification 

Beginning January 1, 2027, this course will not be part of the Mack Transmission Master certification requirements. 

 What this means for technicians pursuing Mack Transmission Master certification 

If you are working toward Mack Transmission Master certification, you will no longer need to complete this course as of January 1, 2027. If you have completed all other requirements, you will qualify for certification on that date. No action is required. 

What this means for current Mack Transmission Master technicians 

Your certification status will not change. Previously earned credit for this course will remain in your training record.
