Walk the Bulldog Pioneer™ Champion Named

Step up. Stand out. Walk the Bulldog.

Nearly 100 Mack sales professionals stepped up. Twelve earned their place in the live finals at the Mack Experience Center in Allentown, PA. And after two tough days and a head-to-head showdown on Thursday night, the 2026 Mack Pioneer Walk the Bulldog Champion was crowned.

Congratulations to champion Grant Aschenbeck, of Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment, and runner-up
Dustin Kelver, also of Bruckner’s Truck and Equipment, for rising to the challenge.

The Pioneer was built for long-haul. This competition challenged Mack sales professionals to prove they were built to sell it.

Knowing the features was just the starting point. In their video submissions, competitors had to show how the Pioneer, backed by Mack’s services and solutions, keeps trucks moving and drivers productive in the customer’s operation.

At the Mack MEC, the top 12 did just that and more at five demanding stations:

  • Overcoming Objections
  • WalkARound
  • Spec’ing
  • Competitive Comparison
  • Services and Solutions

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to Walk the Bulldog. Your preparation, competitive spirit, and customer focus showed what Mack sales professionals bring to the table.

Congratulations to our other 10 finalists:

  • Robert Bond, Bruckner's Truck & Equipment
  • Joe Ebben, Kriete Truck Center
  • Matt Howlett, Vision Truck Group
  • Joel Huibregtse, Kriete Truck Center
