Mack Trucks Academy Wins Brandon Hall Excellence Awards
Established in 1993, the The Brandon Hall human capital management (HCM) excellence awards recognize achievement in learning and development for organizations. Entries are judged on how well the training program fits the needs of the organization, program design, delivery, results, and overall impact.
This year Mack Trucks Academy earned a Best Certification Program bronze medal for its Mack Battery Electric Vehicle Certified Technician Training and a Best Advance in Custom Content silver medal for Getting to Know the General Freight Customer. Both programs were developed in partnership with Kick Learning.
The Mack Battery Electric Vehicle Certified Technician Training is an instructor-led, hands-on course that teaches the steps and safety requirements for decommissioning and commissioning electric vehicles. The complexity of the procedures, coupled with the risks of working with electricity, required a multi-faceted approach to training and certification.
The Getting to Know the General Freight Customer eLearning supports the growth of the general freight business by teaching Mack Trucks sales professionals to understand the needs of their customers first before tailoring the conversation to the vehicle.
Since 2013 Mack Trucks Academy has won six Brandon Hall awards.
