HVAC Fundamentals
The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the basic concepts of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, commonly referred to as HVAC systems as they apply to machines in the construction, agriculture, and outdoor power equipment industries. This course assumes that the student has minimal knowledge of HVAC systems. This course does not constitute authorization or approval of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) for the certification of technicians. The concepts in this course are presented in a progressive manner.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
• Understand the basic principles of heating and refrigeration
• Understand HVAC fundamentals
• Identify HVAC components as they apply to machines in the construction, agriculture, and outdoor power equipment industries.
