In this course, technicians will learn about the design and function of the electronic parking brake system (EPB) featured on the Mack Pioneer™.

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the basic components and functions of an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB).
  • Describe the process of manual and automatic activation and release of the parking brake.
  • Identify the various sensors and control units involved in the EPB.
  • Recognize the safety features and additional functions of EPB, such as dynamic braking and anti-compound function.
